History of Skoczena

Skoczéna Accessories and Textiles are designed and produced by Michelle Skotzen in the Scottish Borders.  Inspired by the rich and vibrant colours and textures of her native land, Michelle creates works of embroidered art, which are transformed into enchanting accessories that are full of personality and can add a touch of glamour to any outfit or decorate your home.

With strong associations of historical costume and fashion, Skoczéna accessories are inspired by Michelle’s favourite periods in history and combined with the world of high fashion for a modern twist to ensure each product is unique. In keeping with the old Scottish handsel tradition Skoczéna purses and handbags have a 1pence coin stitched into the lining; bestowing good luck to the receiver. The perfect, thoughtful, gift for you to give!
